New Swedish pop duo Dash4 have just released their second single, following on from last year’s ‘Turn Up The Love’. And in a sonic trajectory we like our pop bands to adhere to, the new single is even better than their previous one. It’s ‘Rewind’. A brilliant dancepop track that is pretty much the kind of thing that we started this site for back in 2008. That may or may not have something to do with the fact that this actually WAS written back in 2008. But either way, ‘Rewind’ is definitely in the same head space as us. Niklas Bergwall (September, Darin, Kate Ryan, AND the rest) has given it a fresh, slightly electro-esque new production, and brought it right up to 2014. It’s enormously feelgood, hugely catchy, and just a great big tune in general. Pure Scandipop, in its finest form. ‘Rewind’ is written by Jason Gill, David Clewett and Måns Zelmerlöw (who also recorded and released the song on his second album ‘MZW’).
