MAYE grew up with music of all genres. From opera,rock ’n roll, disco, rap to classical music. When he was 20 years old he released his first EP as a singer. Tabloid said he was the new «neo soul» hope in Norway. After trying to develop as a singer he also started to produce music. Mainly starting off with hip-hop music and later on producing r&b and pop. Becoming better at music production he also began as an manager for artists, and later on started the label Starone Music with a friend. Releasing a single that sold gold the same year! He also participated as a co-producer on the song. He signed 2 rap acts to major labels as Warner Music and Sony. He also just released a single with Simon Field and the platinum selling rap artist A-LEE on the song «The Music Is You» And is currently listed on 30 radio stations in the UK, including fresh listings on Jemmone Now he’s back in the studio making music for himself. This time as a nudisco producer. Having love for the old school analog synths and the tacky drums that where back in the 70/80s he decided it was time to come back. There’s something with the groove in the disco that really makes him feel at home. He started off with a remix of Moby’s Almost Home soon to release a bunch of remixes and hopefully release some originals later this year.
