Thomas Bronzwaer
Thomas Bronzwaer was born in Nijmegen (The Netherlands) on the 30th of September, 1984. Early inspirations were the soundtracks to the WipeOut series featuring artists like Paul van Dyk, Sasha, the Chemical Brothers,FSOL and the Prodigy. Thomas released his first record in 2003, which was a collaboration with Greg Murray. More joint efforts followed such as the highly acclaimed Starburst and Profound, made with fellow Dutchman Paul Moelands and released on Armada. But it wasn't until 2005 that things really started rolling for the Dutchman. The release of his very first solo production, 'Close Horizon', caused something of a storm in tranceland as it was picked up by literally every big name in the scene and eventually licensed to Paul van Dyk's Vandit Records. This lead to a re-release in 2007 with remixes by the likes of Giuseppe Ottaviani and Kuffdam&Plant. The follow-up single 'Shadow World' did even better and was again picked up by all the big names. The two singles also sparked an interest in Thomas' capabilities as a DJ, leading to performances around the globe in countries such as China, Australia, the United States, Poland, the UK, Germany, New Zealand, and of course his home base The Netherlands. Thomas continued to release diverse-sounding projects such as more Arizona (trancy) productions and a more techy, cutting edge production on Spinnin' Records (Avalon – Circa). In 2007, two more releases followed on Vandit under Thomas' real name: the first was 'Constellation', which was supported all over the world by Paul van Dyk and many others, and made it into the national Dutch top 100; and the second was 'Resound', which again received massive support and amazing reactions from fellow DJ's and fans. 2008 saw Thomas releasing new original work such as 'Titan' and remixing Armin van Buuren, the world's number 1 DJ, while 2009 starts off with a banging release on Armada Music called 'Certitude', already featured on Van Buuren's latest mix album. The most important thing to Thomas is that he continues to improve his skills and release better music, and his motto will remain the same: 'this is just the beginning of the beginning'...
