Omniscence
In the late 1980's Omniscence would start rocking mics at the tender age of 14. By the time he was 17 he had already blessed crowds at Irving Plaza's famed "Car Wash Showcase." The most famous, being 1990's New Music Seminar. 3 years later, at the 1993 NMS he astonished the crowd with his newly accquired moniker, "The Funky Oneliner." After cutting a 5 song EP with producer Fanatic, (Lil Kim, Notorious B.I.G., Beyonce, Boyz II Men) he inked a recording contract with Elektra via 3 Boys from Newark Entertainment. Though the deal wasn't all that met the eyes of the ambitious 22 year old, he was able to achieve credible underground status, which earned him the October 95 edition of The Source's "Hip-Hop Quotable" (Unsigned Hype) and "Sure Shot Singles." Dropping two singles "Amazin" and "Touch Y'all" featuring Sadat X, Omniscence called it quits saying, "I need time to rethink my gameplan." The hiatus turned out to be over 15 years. So the question remains until now, "What has he been doing?" His recent sighting should shed some light on all inquiring minds.
