Operating behind the mixer and console, Dusty is considered by some to be the inventor of Cumbia Electronica, as he was feeding cumbia into his sound processor and synthesizer before the turn of the millennium. What Lee Scratch Perry is to Reggae, Dus is to cumbia: the Father of Dub. Composer, arranger and ringmaster, Oliveira reinterprets the principals of the Jamaican sound systems of the 1970s, mashes the grimey, electro bass sounds, and always brings together, in his live performances, a panoply of MC's, Singers, as well as musicians and other dj's. El Dusty's latest single "K Le Pasa" is out now on Man Recordings. Mixing up classic Colombian cumbia, Texas based producer and DJ, El Dusty, created the ultimate Latin banger that brings together the best of Europe and South America. The track was mixed and mastered in Berlin by Jan Driver of Boysnoize Records for that extra big sound. Cumbia, Electro and a ready-to-party sound: This tune will bomb many floors! Including remixes by: Alan Rosales & DJ Mouse, Alvaro, Sonora, So Shifty & Jan Driver! ------- "K Le Pasa“ by Texas based DJ El Dusty was released late November 2011 on Man Recordings and since has turned into a floor smashing cumbia banger that many DJs play out in clubs. First up is Berlin´s Jan Driver of Boysnoize Records fame who shaped „K Le Pasa“ into a stadium rocking noise smasher, what is probably the most hardcore European treatment a Cumbia track ever received. Holland´s Alvaro, known for that high in demand Dutch touch remixed „K Le Pasa“ into a nasty little Moombathon track that will excite many lady´s hips. Alan Rosales & DJ Mouse of Mexico City slashed out the magic 3Ball ryhthm of Mexico, which fuses Cumbia with Euro house, bringing together the best elements of both sides of the pond. So Shifty from Hamburg, Germany, remixed „K Le Pasa“ into an amazing cumbiaton inspired version, which will kill all global bass oriented floors. Finally, it´s Sonora from the Peligrosa crew of Austin, Texas, who remixed El Dusty´s block rocking tune in a surprising, uptempo, ravey floor whipper. Five amazing remixes that range from noisy Electro to Moombathon, 3Ball Guarachero, Cumbiaton to housey Afrobeat. The „K Le Pasa Remix“ EP is a sure shot for every DJ.
