Micah Tyler
Singer/Songwriter/Worship-Leader Based in Buna (Southeast), TX Every person has a story to tell - Micah Tyler is no different. But instead of just speaking the words, he has the ability to wrap his tale in souful, passionate melodies combined with conversational and gripping lyric. His upcoming album titled “The Story I Tell” walks through the battles and wars we wage against our flesh to become the people that we have been called to be. With past influences like Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder infused with new inspirations like Shane & Shane, NEEDTOBREATHE, and Jason Mraz, Micah’s style of music has a sound all his own. He had the opportunity to work with some amazingly talented co-writers on the project: Executive Producer Jennie Lee Riddle (Revelation Song), Producer Kyle Lee and writers Phil King, Sam Mizell, David Riddle, and Allison Clarke. Micah has been involved in ministry since 2002, serving as a full-time youth pastor for 6 of those years. He and his band have been traveling full-time since late 2010, serving as a worship band for camps, retreats, DiscipleNow weekends, conferences, and has played concerts in churches, coffee shops, college campuses, and festivals. He was awarded the Gospel Music Association’s “National Male Vocalist of the Year” at the 2012 Immerse Conference.
