Fat Sushi

Swiss duo Fat Sushi is currently making its trademark on the underground clubland by signing their debut EPs on the hype chart-rocking OFF Recordings – featuring the vocals of US legend Roland Clark – as well as being signed to Oliver Koletzki’s imprint Light My Fire. It looks like the guys from Zurich found their own tasty formula for Fat Sushi: Oldschool flavoured beats meet powerful basslines with a funky twist. Simple, yet very effective.   Being in the game for almost two decades before they decided to join forces in early 2013, you can hear the inspiration of various musical styles in their productions: from oldschool chicago house to the late 80ies and early 90ies – already being supported by the current keyplayers of the deep house scene such as Jay Lumen, Round Table Knights or Reboot as well as Robert Owens, Boris Dlugosh, Kolombo or Tapesh.   Keep an eye on this Swiss cold fat fish, because sooner or later, Fat Sushi will make you dance...
