Moiez
Moiez is a 22 year-old Vancouver based electronic producer who crafts vocally-driven, melodic dance music with a curiosity that spans from hip-hop to deep trance. His growth in the last 18 months has been astounding; in addition to releasing 26 original tracks and remixes, Moiez’s dedicated fan base has grown from 50 to over 40,000 fans with over 1 million songs streamed on his SoundCloud account alone. Last February Moiez was featured at #6 on Billboard’s Next Big Sound Chart, which tracks the fastest growing artists across all major social music sites. Moiez has created a number of breakout hits. From his remix of Apollo by Hardwell, which captivated audiences in December 2012 and received over 100,000 plays in its first week to his remix of This Is What It Feels Like by Armin van Burren, which reached the top of the HypeMachine charts in early May. His work has been supported by numerous top DJ's from around the world including Tiesto, Adventure Club, Andrew Rayel, Krewella, R3HAB, Morgan Page, Quintino, 3LAU and many more. In December, Moiez started a new chapter in his career with his first major label release on Cr2 Records. His original single City On A Hill featuring American Idol contestant Anoop Desai premiered on the Beatport Progressive House chart and peaked at #38 alongside massive players in dance music world. His non-exclusive partnership with Cr2 marks the beginning of a fruitful relationship that will span multiple releases. In addition to working with Cr2 Records, Moiez has released multiple remixes in partnership with Mysto & Pizzi on Ultra Records, including his remix of Adrian Lux's Wild Child, which has been featured in top dj sets and festival performances. Moiez' success on the web has also translated to live performances. In the past year Moiez has supported major acts like 3LAU, Tom Swoon and Project 46 amongst many others. In the summer of 2013 Moiez had the opportunity to open the main stage of the Spring Awakening Music Festival in Chicago and playa mini-tour in New York City.
